Shoegaze Metal bands

Shoegaze metal blends heavy guitars with the dreamy walls of sound of 1990s shoegaze bands like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. The result is hazy, emotional and often beautiful, with buried vocals and layers of reverb. It overlaps with blackgaze, the black metal branch made famous by Alcest and Deafheaven.
