Heavy and Speed Metal bands

Heavy metal is where it all started: the riffs of Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, and the galloping twin guitars of Iron Maiden and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Speed metal took that sound and played it faster, with Motörhead, Exciter and early Helloween leading the charge. Big choruses, screaming leads, denim and leather are still alive and well in the underground.

These are the heavy and speed metal bands on Metal TV, from traditional metal revivalists to bands that only know one speed. Watch their videos, find their new releases and upcoming gigs, and request a song for everyone watching.
