Avant-garde and Experimental Metal bands

Avant-garde and experimental metal is where metal stops following rules. Bands mix extreme metal with jazz, electronics, classical music, drone and noise, and songs go wherever the idea leads. Celtic Frost's later experiments, Arcturus, Ved Buens Ende and Sigh are among those who opened the door, and the scene is still full of surprises.

These are the avant-garde and experimental bands on Metal TV. Expect the unexpected: watch their music videos, find their latest releases and upcoming shows, and request a song for everyone watching.
