Request a song
A song request drops a track you choose into the upcoming schedule so it plays once, as soon as possible, at a reserved spot the channel will not bump. It is the quickest way to hear a specific song on the channel. Requests cost credits: 1 credit = 1 request.

How to request a song
- Press Request on the player (next to Genres).
- Search for and pick a song that is in rotation. A song that played in the last hour, or is already coming up, cannot be requested yet, so pick another.
- Confirm. One credit is spent and the song joins the upcoming list, shown as requested by you. It usually airs within the hour, sooner when the channel is quiet.
Buying credits
When you run low, press Request (or the credit chip next to My Account) and choose a top-up pack. Credits are priced in New Zealand dollars and paid securely by card:
- 5 credits – NZ$5
- 20 credits – NZ$15
- 50 credits – NZ$30
- 100 credits – NZ$50
Larger packs cost less per credit. Your balance shows next to My Account and in My Account → Credits, with a history of every credit in and out.
Good to know
- 1 credit = 1 request, and a request plays the song once.
- Credits last 12 months from when you get them.
- If a requested song cannot be played (for example its video becomes unavailable before it airs), the credit is automatically returned to your balance.
- Requests follow the channel's no-repeat rule, so you cannot request a song that just played or is already lined up.
Credits are paid for in advance, are non-refundable except where required by law, and have no cash value. See the Advertising & Promotion Terms.
