Account & profile

A free account lets you follow bands and save tracks, post in live chat, add bands and videos, and run promotions. You never have to leave the stream to sign up: the forms open in a panel over the page.

Sign up

1. Click Register in the header.
2. Enter your name, email, a password, and optionally your country (it shows your flag in chat).
3. You can start using your account right away. We email a confirmation link, which you will need before contributing or running promotions.

Confirm your email

Open the link in the confirmation email. If it has expired or you cannot find it, go to My Account → Account and click Resend confirmation email (check your junk folder; new senders sometimes land there).

Your profile

• Name & country – edit under My Account → General.
• Avatar – click your avatar to cycle through the metal icon set, or use your country flag. It appears next to your chat messages.
• Notifications – opt in to an email when a band you follow is scheduled.
• Password – change it under My Account → Account; reset a forgotten one from the Login panel via Forgot password.
