We share our ad revenue with the bands
Every day, Metal TV puts half of that day's net advertising revenue (what is left after payment processing fees) into an artist fund, and splits it equally between the approved videos that aired that day. Your balance goes up every day your music is on the channel.
How it works
- Airing is free: any band can upload and be on the channel within minutes.
- Earning is for licensed bands. Once a band claims its page, we review each of its videos, and every approved video holds one equal share of each day it airs.
- The more real videos a band has approved, the larger its share. Viewers cannot influence it: there is no play count in the split, just approved videos that aired.
- We settle every day, so a band's balance ticks up daily. Pay out to your bank once it reaches the minimum, or spend it on promoting your own music.

We already air hundreds of underground bands. If one of them is yours, claim your page to join the fund: find your band, then contact us to claim it. We will verify you and switch your videos on for the fund.
