About
Founded in 1996 by Valkus, originally as a solo project. Due to the lack of a drummer, the band remained inactive until 2001. Around 2006, Valkiria began to become a full band with the help of singer Mancan and other artists who followed. Compilation appearances: - "Sunset" on Rock Hard Explosion Vol.12 (Rock Hard, 2012) Not to be confused with: - Valkyria (Doom/Death Metal from Caserta, Campania) - Valchiria (Progressive Rock from Rome; released '89 demo and "Una scatola di bugie" demo '90) - Walkyrya (Heavy Metal from Potenza, Basilicata) - Walkyria (all-female band from Terni, Umbria)
