Throughout the band's career, their albums have alternated between various form of gothic, black, and doom metal (such as DämmerElbenTragödie and Perdition Diaries) as well as acoustic and gothic rock releases (such as Mute Boy Sad Girl and Welkin Shores Burning). Eldron had ended Autumnblaze on 10/26/06 and formed a band called Sidewaytown. The band reformed 2 years later.
