While on tour in December 2007, the band's bus crashed which resulted in the fatalities of lead vocalist, Damien Morris as well as merchandise manager, Andy Milner. They were in the middle of recording the debut album Unconsecrated when the accident occurred. The band chose to preserve the 3 songs Morris managed to complete vocals for and are included on the album. Split up on October 5th, 2011. Reunited on October 16th, 2019.
