About
Sylarin is a female fronted progressive metal band from Kansas City, Missouri. Sylarin was established in 2023 by the expert composer and lead guitarist Thorin Pierce and the dynamic producer and percussionist Alec Stockman. They held auditions for a vocalist and were blown away by the virtuoso vocalist Josie Watkins. With her wide range and powerful tone, they immediately knew she would be a perfect fit for the project they had in mind. After their first two releases Only Human and Chains of Authority, they were ready to expand their lineup. They enlisted the accomplished Connor Noteboom on rhythm guitar and the highly adept Keenan Franklin on bass guitar in 2025. They went on to release Eternal Prophecy, With My Soul, and Crimson respectively during that same year. Together, their sound spans a dynamically wide range, while still remaining consistent in tone and performance. Captivating eclectic audiences with a spectrum of lyrically emotional subject matters paired with meticulously harmonic melodies, creating life-long fans. Their music, videos, and merchandise are all independently produced while their quality stays indistinguishable from their seniors.
