Not to be confused with: - Terror (Heavy/Thrash Metal from West Seneca, New York) - Terror (Thrash Metal from Sierra Madre, California) - Terror (Speed Metal from California) - Terror (Hardcore/Thrash Metal from Los Angeles, California) - Terror Inc. (Heavy Metal/Horror Punk from Dillsburg, Pennsylvania) - Terror Incorporated (Grindcore from El Paso, Texas) Formed in September 1986. From 1991 to 1995, Terror changed their line-up and style and became a death metal band. They released Burn Bethelham and Up From the Grave (a death metal re-recording of Entombed in Terror, using the original drum tracks) during this era and also wrote numerous other unreleased songs such as "Push Toward The Beyond" and four others that are currently known (there were significantly more, but no recordings have surfaced yet). Alongside the new material, their live sets in this era used to include new versions of old songs such as "Cathedral of Lies", "Legion of Gore", "Decomposed", "Conscious Dismemberment" and others, and sometimes they'd include a cover of Mutilation's "Aborticide". The song "Swallowed Soul" also appeared on the first version of Witchery's Black Earth demo, although it is unknown if it was originally written with Terror or with Witchery. Terror played a live return at the Agora Ballroom on April 23rd, 2016, at the first annual Konyafest, a festival dedicated to the memory of Jim Sadist. As of 2019 Brian is also in Vadiat. Unreleased: - Mind Dissection (Only one master copy with handwritten labels was produced, which Jim Konya borrowed and ultimately kept until his death).
