In 2003 Bryan and Jacob parted ways, because Bryan moved to Portland. They made an agreement that both can keep going under the Harness name until one of them gets a record deal or gets offered to a tour. At that point they were to invite the other person to join. Roughly 2010, Bryan filed trademarks for the name Harness while Jacob changed the name of his iteration to Harness Unseen. This is Jacob's iteration of the band. For Bryan's band see Harness.
