Contact: faeulnis-official@gmx.de Fäulnis is German for "Putrefaction". The band describes their music as "SickBlackArt" or "BlackDoomPunkRock". There were plans for a split EP with Aschefall that was supposed to be released by Metallkatharsis (MK004) in 2008 (later delayed to Autumn 2010), but that never happened. Recorded the yet unreleased song "Ukraine (Oma Hans cover)" which was intented to be a bonus song for the "Gehirn zwischen Wahn und Sinn" vinyl edition. On December 11th, 2017, Seuche stated that the band won't play live anymore. Furthermore he said that he doesn't know if there will ever be new music released under the name Fäulnis (besides a split with Unru to be released in 2018). He and the other members will however continue making music, but probably with different projects. Later he stated that this is meant to be a re-start and a return to the pre-2009 era with him doing everything on his own and without live appearances. As time went on, his interest in the project and making music faded until he announced his comeback with a new project called Marschland in 2024, officially putting an end to Fäulnis.
