Not to be confused with: • Abomination (Death/Thrash Metal from Illinois) • Abomination (Black Metal from New York) • Abomination (Thrash Metal/Crossover from Missouri) • Abomination (Black/Doom Metal from Massachusetts) Formed in September 1986 by Larry Sapp, soon joined by Jeff Acres and Donnie Yanson. Recorded only one demo (featured on Brutality's The Demos box set) recorded in 1986/87. It is unclear how long they were called Abomination (one source says "a few months", another "about a year"), but it seems safe to conjecture that they changed their name to Darkness (which only recorded some unreleased rehearsal tapes) briefly in 1987 before finally becoming Brutality.
